AWEBB AGM 2008
The team at AWEBB were delighted with the support given by the members and suppliers of the group – making the 32nd AGM the highest attended in our history, this added to the overwhelming success and enabled members and suppliers to experience a great social weekend whilst retaining a strong element of business with the Trade show taking centre stage on Friday – Many suppliers have suggested that to due to the large attendance the show was the best and certainly the most vibrant we have ever conducted. Suppliers such as Nexans, Thorn, Scolmore and many others were keen to point out that they had experienced an increased level of financial return on the day. On Saturday Members enjoyed informative speeches from Mr Jeremy Hodge from BASEC who spend a short time helping members understand some of the benefits of working with BASEC cables – it was then time to learn more about the Sustainable and renewable energy markets with a speech from Kelly Butler Association Director with BEAMA, the speech was aimed at the fast moving trends within this market and set out many benefits within our sector
