EEIBA - The Industry Charity

AWEBB has recognised that our industry charity has not been particularly well supported by the any of the main buying groups in our country which is a disappointment when considering that the EEIBA is the only dedicated charity that enables employees and employees family to receive help and support in times of trouble. AWEBB has always worked hard to provide support for the EEIBA but this last year has seen our company raise around £9,000 which is more than double previous amounts this was done predominantly by the members and suppliers at our AGM in October. In addition to the fund raising AWEBB has also communicated to the members the benefits for staff such as ‘Power’ Lottery which is a program that allows individual staff members to offer £1 direct from their salary and receive entry into a monthly prize draw for a £1000 and a 6 monthly draw for £5000.

AWEBB is committed to trying to help our chosen charity in any way we can and this year has also raised our profile by taking a table at the industry showcase evening at the Grosvenor House London on the 14th November. Several Board members are attending at their own cost and are joined by our member of the year Coventry Electrical and Supplier of the year Group Schneider.
